One account, one role — and why the portal is gated

One email address = one account = one role. A Service Provider (a person) sees opportunities — never the pool of people, except their own public profile. An Opportunity Provider (an organization or household) sees the pool of people — never the opportunities list. There is no role switch; if you picked the wrong door, sign out and start again from the join screen, or use a different email for the other role. People are visible only to signed-in members, and only verified profiles are discoverable. A published, public posting has its own public page (city and state only, households unnamed) so it can be found in search; invite-only postings stay private. This is deliberate — every profile you see has passed a real check, and every organization that can see you has passed one too. Availability varies by location; PinchHitterPool does not promise opportunities in any area, and inviting people you know is how a local pool grows.
