Members invite people
Any member can invite someone they trust to join PinchHitterPool from their portal — a reliable coworker, a neighbor who does great work, a fellow volunteer. The invitee chooses their own role (Service Provider or Opportunity Provider), completes verification, and starts with a warm connection instead of a cold profile.
Organizations invite people
Organizations proactively invite trusted individuals rather than waiting for applications — a volunteer from last season, a helper a neighbor recommended. They also invite co-admins with scoped access roles, so one organization can be run by several people with every change tracked in the activity log.
Why it stays trustworthy
An invitation is a head start, not a shortcut. Every invited member completes the same verification as everyone else — SSO sign-in, the one-time $1 card validation, and a public-presence link — before becoming discoverable. The result is an organic growth loop: real people vouching for real people, with the platform verifying both.
