Simple, flat pricing — never a commission on anyone’s work. Volunteering is always free for volunteers, and workers and interns never pay to take a job. Paid options exist only where they keep the pool real, validated, and spam-free.

Volunteering — organizations

Volunteers themselves always join free.
  • Bring on 5 volunteers free every 30-day cycle (unpaid and stipend internship hires are free and never counted)
  • $10 per cycle for up to 10 volunteers
  • $70 per cycle for up to 100 volunteers
  • More than 100: add blocks of 100 volunteers yourself, any time — or contact us for anything unusual
  • Upgrade or downgrade anytime; the cycle resets every 30 days

The small stuff, spelled out

Verification — a $3 ID check, or LinkedIn with a $1 card check
Every member verifies a phone number, then proves they're a real person once: a $3government-ID check through Stripe (document and selfie; PinchHitterPool never sees the images), or LinkedIn (free) together with a one-time $1 card check. Only verified profiles are discoverable. Fees are not refunded once a check has run; your statement shows SoftTelRG LLC. Country not covered by Stripe? Pay via Google Pay or another vendor — request manual verification from your profile and we'll coordinate. No card? A paid subscriber who knows you can vouch for you instead, with admin approval — they can cancel afterwards with no penalty and your validation stays. Members aged 13–17 are validated by a verified parent or guardian.
Referral rewards — $0.50 per verified person you invite
Invite one person at a time. When they join and complete verification, you earn 1 point worth $0.50 — as PinchHitterPool credit, or a gift card for members 18+ ($100 at 200 points, on the website). A sign-up alone earns nothing; a point is never taken back. Rewards are promotional, not a commission; gift cards may be taxable, and U.S. rules require a Form W-9 once they reach $600 in a year. Internships
Organizations only. Interns never pay a job fee. Every posting states paid, stipend, or unpaid. Hiring an unpaid or stipend intern is free — it never draws a volunteer seat; PinchHitterPool covers internship hiring as a standing promotion, and the $3 reference letter at the end (paid by the organization) is the only charge. A paid internship follows the paid-job rules above, reference letter included with the fee. Details on Internships.
Volunteer hire plans (organizations)
5 volunteer hires free every 30-day cycle. $10/cycle for up to 10, $70/cycle for up to 100. Unused, un-started cycles are refundable; 100+ is custom — contact us.
Paid jobs
Workers and interns never pay a job fee — the organization that hires pays it, and their first paid hire is free. After that it is $2 minimum, 2% above that, and never more than $9 however large the job. Organizations are billed once a month, not once a job. A validated profile is findable in its own postal code for free; a $3/month subscription makes it discoverable in every search, everywhere.
Engagement certificates
For volunteer work: $1 per certificate, paid by the organization — the volunteer never pays, and the certificate lands in their folder automatically. Certificates carry verified hours and milestones, and organizations can add their logo. Paid work needs no certificate — its record is the verified hours, jobs, and milestones on the profile.

The monthly subscription is optional and cancel-anytime; take it only if and while the extra reach is worth it to you.
