PinchHitterPool is built for two kinds of people: those who need help, and those who love to serve. Our objective is a hub built on trusted principlesthat brings more productivity to the global workforce — where giving time and earning from your skills live side by side — and a student's first internship is the on-ramp to both — where every profile is real and verified, and where no one's work is taxed by a commission.
Fair
PinchHitterPool never takes a percentage of anyone's work. Volunteers serve free, always. Organizations bring on volunteers free within a generous monthly allowance. Paid-service providers keep what they earn — workers never pay a job fee at all is the entire cost of the connection. Small flat fees exist only to fund verification and keep the pool free of bots and spam.
Accessible
The platform serves every country not restricted by UN or U.S. sanctions, scoped properly by country, state, and postal code so local really means local. Where Stripe isn't available, members verify through any US-approved payment channel with human support. A household hiring a nanny, a nonprofit staffing a food drive, and a side-hustler with two free evening hours all use the same front door.
Trustworthy
Every discoverable profile carries three proofs — SSO identity, a $1 card validation, and a public-presence link (LinkedIn or Google Business Profile). Trust is then earned, not claimed: verified hours, service milestones, and $1 engagement certificates that anyone can verify by link build a permanent record for both sides. Incidents are recorded on both parties' histories, and the platform keeps auditable records for any legal purpose.
