Registering an organization: domain match, ownership and disputes

An organization can be registered only by someone signed in with an email at the organization's own website domain (name@yourorganization.org for yourorganization.org). The form checks this as you type the website and shows a match or no-match line. If there is no website, you signed in with a personal email (Gmail, Outlook and the like), or the domains don't match, register as an individual or household instead. That path verifies you personally (phone plus the ID check, or LinkedIn plus the one-time $1 card check). When you register you declare that you own the organization or are its authorized delegate, and that you take ownership of and responsibility for its account. If ownership is disputed later (a partnership split, a sale, a departed employee, a domain that changed hands), contact support@softtelrg.com. PinchHitterPool is not a court and doesn't decide legal ownership; support may ask for documents and follows court orders, and may limit the account while the dispute is open.
